It can be a mystery, or a sweet storybook fantasy.

Love is said to be patient and kind, but it can also feel sticky and bitter at times.

We want so badly to be in love, yet sometimes that is not as a simple as the words above.

Love can be whatever you want it to be.

Do you want it to be like a sweet lullaby?

It really is such a mystery.

Love is challenging, love is deep.

Love can be whatever you want it to be.

We always hope it will be easy.

You trust and give and lose so much sleep,

Yet, so easily, it can be lost like a ship at sea.

Though, it is okay, for there will always will be more love songs to play,

And once again, you can fall asleep while counting all of those fence jumping sheep, just hoping, one day, you can find your love again.

Love can be whatever you want it be…

I waited for you, then I decided to search for you.

For years I looked.

For years I tried.

I finally found you, but it wasn’t the right time.

You wanted to come to me, but you just weren’t quite ready.

Its okay.

I will wait for you.

I can keep waiting, until the time is right, until you are ready.

Until then, I will be watching the sunrise and set, walking along the beaches, feeling the breeze, wishing you were here with me.

Until we meet again, I will hold you dearly, in my memory.

Beauty of the Light

Can we just pretend like darkness doesn’t exist?

That only light and beauty are what we are encompassed with?

Darkness seems to take over so much of the light.

When darkness comes, sometimes its hard to remember the light.

The beauty of the light is so immensely overwhelming.

The beauty of the light can sometimes be hypnotizing.

Surely we could not exist without the balance of the darkness and the light, but when we see the glow of that beautiful light, it really can make one wonder, what it would be like, a world full of light.
