Going to College with Disabilities Proposals

Having an Ad spot during the commercials for a Super Bowl game is quite a big deal. It is not only expensive, but it also really allows companies to reach maximum viewers, rather than regular scheduled advertising on television shows would get. So, when one of these companies is able to snag a spot on such a hot time schedule, it is really important that they are aware of the spectrum of their reach, and plan accordingly. The age spectrum is also massively stretched out, as families, and friends gather from young, to elderly and that is also a very particularly great opportunity to stretch some creative muscles for how to reach each different piqued interest in a way that suites their need or interests, to get them to be more curious about your product. As with each age comes a different level of awareness and comprehension. It takes a real big thought process to take the time to configure such obstacles, thought it can certainly be done, and has, many times over. With a growing number of global issues and concerns, I love to see how these ads have been thoughtful and creative, in bringing awareness to things such as Global Warming, Domestic abuse, as well as other serious issues that deserve our attention and awareness. I am sure that there are other people like me, who don’t watch the super bowl, but like to look up the ads, because those are always really interesting to see, for the special creativity that is compiled in the Ads for each new Super Bowl game. 

Creating entertaining media is very enjoyable, but it would not be as enjoyable if there was dishonesty or disrespect involved. Being aware of the stories and the facts that are being shared is really necessary to have a keen understanding of all the details and to fact check with multiple sources. In all forms of creativity being innovative is a crucial part of the process as you are, most typically, coming up with new and fresh ideas to share with the world. There are so many different forms of media and entertainment that have been caught with not having fact checked or have added information that was untrue, which really makes it not so enjoyable for us, the viewers. Then we have a hard time trusting those who make the movie or whatever it was. Being respectful of those involved also ensures you can have lasting relationships and be able to work together again in the future, if need be. Another form of dishonesty is in the editing process. Some ads over edit or move trailers can edit a movie to make it seem different than it is. Which could potentially draw in the wrong crowd and can cause an eruption of distaste among those who were appealed to it, just to find out it was not what it seemed to be. These and many more reasons are why it is important to be certain you are following along a strong and steady path of honesty and respect for your media and entertainment creations. 

The virtual world has been a great way for me to expand my network and meet new people. I have experienced meeting new friends and have seen how the blind and deaf are able to communicate, in Second Life. The way we can interact and all live in different state, or even in different countries, has really shown me the expansiveness of virtual reality and how it is really diverse in its ability to allow so many to interact, no matter their physical capacities.

As I deal with PTSD and Anxiety Disorder, I have been having trouble with being in groups, or even just being in public, in recent months. So being able to interact on Second Life has been helpful, in the ways, of not having to leave my home. This is something I am intending to be able to extend myself towards with my future career, because working a regular job is just not something I am capable of doing.

Seeing how so many have benefited from the many ways that the virtual world can add to our lives, I feel much gratitude for being able to be apart of it, even just in the learning phase that I am currently in. I look forward to growing with it and giving back, in the form of teaching others about the diverse ways it can be helpful and useful for really anyone. It is a great way to connect and facilitate growth and interaction on so many levels.
