You weren’t created to be the same.

You were created to be you.

You are unique.

You are special.

You have a reason for being here that requires you to be how you are.

How would you like a forest full of trees that were all the same?

That is not ideal…

How would you like it if there was only one flavor of food, or one type of coffee?

That would not be very enjoyable.

Just as there are many different species of trees, many different flavors of foods, and so many options for coffee, you are a not like any other.

You are different, in a way that you are perfect for what you are here to do.

Different is not always looked at to be a word we like to use for ourselves, but different just means not the same as the rest.

We are all different

In that way, we are the same.

Unique, special, different, and full of purpose.

Remember that you are important.

You have a purpose.

You are here for a reason.

Your energy was freeing, it made me feel like I was riding on the waves.

You were new to me, yet your timeless beauty and wise old soul was like nothing I had ever seen.

How did you lose so much of yourself?

Over time, I guess we all do.

It feels like through many ages, that I have known you, yet it has been only minutes, and hours, not even a day, not just yet.

You stand there, by the waves, feeling it all, taking it all in.

I am so astounded by you.

There is so much to learn from you.

Now I keep finding myself wondering, where I would have gone, what I would have done, had I not taken that chance.

Yet, here we are, so close, yet still so far away.
