Keep Climbing
Sometimes it seems as though going faster will make all the difference, when really, slowing down is, at times, the best thing we can do.
This world is fast-paced. We live in a time where there are so many conveniences that make it easier for us to constantly be on the go, but how helpful is that for us? Is it really better, in the end?
Eating foods that are prepared and packaged, or out of a hot bin, rarely making anything, let alone enjoying the process of cooking.
Scrolling through newsfeeds to see how our friends, or loved ones are doing rather than reaching out to them.
Time…
Never enough of it, and yet we don’t always appreciate the steadiness of it.
Sometimes we think we need to speed through a meal, a hike, a project, or even a conversation because we, “don’t have enough time”. What is it that makes us this way? And why can’t we, instead, remember that each minute, each moment is precious and we would greatly benefit from slowing down.
This life holds a lot of value. As the clocks tick away, we might start taking more time with each task, when we can, to give it more love and appreciation. Find more ways to take our time, and to remember that it is oaky to slow down.
Hope you have a wonderfully day, and remember, all will be okay, even if it is slowed down.
Much love.

As I walk through the rocks and feel gentle tickle of the foam-edged waters, show me…
As I dance through the hot sands and find the cool smooth surface of the wetted sands, show me…
While the air flows over my face, letting me smell the softness of the salty air, show me…
Show me how to live.
Show me how to love…
Show me the ways of this world that man has forgotten how to honor…
I want to know how to breathe without fear of death.
I want to move without fear of pain.
I want to love without fear of a broken heart…
Show me…
Show me how to live harder, and to not fear pain.
Show me how to understand passion without fear of falling.
Let me know it is okay to live in a way that takes me to the edge and back.
Let me feel the breeze at the edge of a cliff without fear of the ground below.
I want to know how to live without fear of death, for death is just a natural part of this human existence.
Let me know how to swim in open waters without fear of drowning, for I want to LIVE!
Express passion to me through a wicked storm, and show me how to survive it.
Engage with me in a Sundance that taunts my wayward eyes that long to gaze at its beautiful presence.
Enchant me with a crescent moon and the wolves that howl at it.
Let me feel pain, let me be free, let me know how to explore more of the beautiful land and the expansive sea.
I want to know how to dance with rainbows and caress the breeze with the sway of my hips that flow with my heart beat.
You know me, you are me, Mother Nature, show me how to be free.
