Your Peace is Within You

Sail Away

There is this place I want to show you…

It will take a few months, or so, to get there.

We must take a boat, for we can only reach it by way of the sea, as there is no other way to find this special place.

You will see, it will be grand, we will have an adventure, just wait and see.

We will look over to the land, as we take the to the water, hand in hand, to find our special place, on the sea, aboard Harmony.

You and me, we can do it all.

You and me, we will see it all.

You and me, we will be so happy at sea.

There won’t be a sky that we won’t sleep under, or a star we don’t look to, for our map as we sail away, on the wide open sea.

The sea may rage, we may face storms, but we will find peace and Serenity onboard Harmony.

Who knows how long we will be, it may take longer than a few months, we may be sailing for years to come.

Storms may take us off course, or we may have to stop on some islands for more resources, but we will be okay, because we will have each other and Harmony will keep us safe.

We may miss our friends and family who remain back on land, but there is so much for us to explore, we might just need to take our time, for the land will always be there, yet the time to explore is now.

What is time without an adventure to spend it on.

What is life without some freedom to explore.

This life is the only life we have, and it’s time that we go and see the world, from the eyes of a captain, on a boat called Harmony.

Let’s take this voyage, and navigate the sea.

We will have a compass and plenty of things we may need.

There will be no worries, except for what Mother Nature might bring.

It’s going to be the best, an adventure of a lifetime.

You and me, I just know, we can live in harmony, on the open sea.

Where Are You Going to Go

With all those dreams…

All those passions…

All those “maybe next lifetime” kind of thoughts…

Push away all that procrastination…

All those fears that are holding you back.

All those plans to put it all off.

All that busy day to day…

Where are you going to go?

When are you going to take a step towards that adventure?

When are you going to make those dreams come alive?

Walking through this life,

Hoping things will one day feel right…

All this push…

All the pain…

Hoping one day it will turn out alright.

One day is always going to be too far away.

Make that change.

Take that step.

Today, everything can feel alright.

Today, can be your day.

Passing Time

We tend to go through this life in a hurry, barely slowing down for anything. Meals are even a rush, as we are always trying to keep up with the daily tasks and expectations for ourselves, so the days just zoom by. Before we know it, another year has gone by. Another holiday is around the corner. We have aged and still haven’t reached many of our goals or experienced many of the things we had hoped to by this time in our lives.

Time is not an object.

Time is not something we can earn back.

Time is steadily passing us by, as we hurry and hurry to get nowhere fast.

As we watch our children grow, or see the skin on our faces change with time, we look back and think about all the things we had hoped to do with our lives. We think about the experiences we have had, and the time we hope that we have left. Maybe this changes things a bit, seeing how time isn’t slowing down, but our bodies really would like us to.

Time doesn’t wait for us to decide to be more patient.

Time does not tell us we better hurry up and accomplish our goals.

Time does not stop and go backwards so we can fix past mistakes.

There is an unknown amount of time for each of us. We are not given a choice to stay or go, at any age. We must make the best of this time that we have. It is up to us how we spend our time, in this life. We can spend it rushing through or we can spend it moving a bit slower and enjoying it a bit more. You choose.

Time is what you make it.

Time is on you side or it isn’t.

Time is passing by…

How will you choose to spend the rest of it?
